Have you ever wanted to be the best sailor in the world? Sir Peter Blake is one of the best. He was born at October 1st 1948, and died at December 6th 2001. At the age of 53 he won all competitions from 1989 to 1990 races. At 1994 to 1997, he stopped yachting to study technology. Sir Peter Blake has been very important to us, because in 1989 to 1990 he always win against all nations around the world, and had the fastest record in the Americas cup. Blake died when he went on an environmental exploration around South America, when a pirate shot him because he always win and have the prize money from the Americas cup. His wife Pippa Blake, survived when going on to the environmental voyage in South Africa, that’s when after 2 weeks of survival she found help and got back to New Zealand.
